Frequently Asked Questions
Turnaround, shipping, sample handling, and what our results do (and don’t) tell you.
How long does testing take?
Most results are completed within 5-9 business days of your sample arriving at our lab. Turnaround begins once we receive your sample, not when it ships, and can vary slightly with sample volume and the tests requested.
Where do you accept samples from?
We currently only accept samples shipped from within Canada. We are not able to accept international shipments at this time.
Can I drop my sample off in person?
No. We do not accept in-person or walk-in drop-offs. All samples are shipped through a freight-forwarding address (a PO box) that automatically forwards packages to our lab — our physical lab location is not a public drop-off point.
Will I get my sample back after testing?
No. Samples submitted for testing are consumed or disposed of during the analysis process and are not returned under any circumstances. All peptide vials must arrive completely sealed with the original cap in place. We will not test a vial that has been opened.
Do you offer refunds?
No. We do not offer refunds or returns of any kind, for any reason, once a service has been rendered. Refunds are never issued based on the outcome or content of your test results — our responsibility ends once testing is complete and your Certificate of Analysis has been delivered.
What does my Certificate of Analysis (COA) actually tell me?
Your COA reports what our lab measured in the specific sample you sent us, using the test methods you selected (for example HPLC-UV purity/identity, endotoxin, heavy metals, or antimicrobial screening). It is a description of that sample only.
Does a passing result mean a product is safe to use?
No. Peak Pure Peps performs laboratory research testing only. Our results are not a safety evaluation and are not intended to determine whether any compound is safe, legal, or appropriate for human or veterinary use, including by injection or any other route. We do not make any determination about suitability for use, and we accept no responsibility for decisions made based on a report we provide. If you have questions about the safety or legality of a substance, consult a qualified professional.
Who can see my results?
Only you. Once testing is complete, we upload your Certificate of Analysis to our public COA Directory using the reference number and compound name only — no personal information and no results are shown publicly. The full report, including your measured purity and results, is only viewable when the private access key issued with your order is entered on our Verify a COA page. Without that key, no one can see your results.
Do I need an account to order testing?
Yes. All test orders require a Peak Pure Peps account so we can privately match your samples to your results and COAs. We do not offer guest ordering.
What compounds can you test?
We maintain a list of 90+ commonly requested peptides and compounds available for testing. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Reach out through our Contact page and we’ll let you know if we can accommodate it.
Can I order more than one test on the same sample?
Yes. When you request testing for a compound, you can add HPLC purity analysis, endotoxin screening, heavy metal screening, and antimicrobial testing all to the same sample, and add an extra COA copy under a different name if needed.
